Sugaring is an alternative method of hair removal to waxing. It involves a sugar paste which is applied to the area over the hair & flicked off, removing the hair by the root including the bulb, leaving the skin smooth, silky & hair free up to 6 weeks.
Sugaring is less painful & more thorough & is particularly suitable for people who have experienced discomfort through other forms of hair removal.
The therapist is always aware of the temperature of the paste as it is in her hand so this avoids burning the skin like some waxing methods do.
The sugar paste is entirely natural & hypoallergenic so also suitable for sensitive skin & people who suffer from psoriasis & eczema.
Can be more thorough as the therapist can go over the area with & against the hair growth.
Sugaring can be performed on shorter hairs than waxing so you can be hair free more regularly if you wish

At your first appointment I will carry out a consultation and will then be able to give you an indication of your personal treatment times for each booking. I prefer not to rush your treatment.

I am trained in both strip sugaring which is a simular removal method to waxing with a paper strip and also the hand sugaring technique where paste is applied by hand and removed with a flick of the hand. At your consultation we will put together a personalised treatment plan & decide which method is suitable for your hair type and area of removal.
